Video Book Response: So You Want to Talk About Race by Ijeoma Oluo

Not everyone is going to like the book because race is an uncomfortable subject. Oluo does not sugar coat the words in this book so it will go down a lot sweeter. To add on to that, when we talk about race, there are layers of an ugly truth but to get to a place of unity and equity, we must be willing to be open to hearing the cries and pain of those who are oppressed even when don’t agree or if it seems too bitter.
