Slideshow: Black Women Equal Pay Day | Get the Facts

Along with our partners at LeanIn.Org and BlackWomensEqualPayDay.org we are commemorating July 31st is Black Women's Equal Pay Day. The date represents how long within the 2017 calendar year it will take for a black woman to make what a white male made in 2016.

For every $1 men are paid in the United States, women as a whole are paid just 80 cents. For Black women, it’s even worse — just 63 cents. In a Lean In Women of Color slideshow, we show you the extent of disparity between black women and their counterparts in the workplace.
